British Science week took place between 6-15 March 2020, the theme for this year was ‘Our diverse planet’. To join in with the celebration Oldhill Community Primary school held a Science day on Wednesday 11th March 2020 entitled ‘Our diverse planet – The Ocean’. The day began with a whole school interactive assembly with Jamie Buchanan-Dunlop a coral explorer from Encounter edu. Across the school each year group focused on a different area of the ocean.
- Year 1: Ocean layers
- Year 2: Ocean plastic
- Year 3: Coral oceans
- Year 4: Our ocean planet
- Year 5: Submarine STEM
- Year 6: Analyzing acidity levels in liquids.
