On 24th July, the Year 6 Film Club went to the British Film Institute to watch the world premiere of our film: Levels. The children were part of an international project to promote film-making skills in schools. The organiser wrote the following:
“Oldhill Community School, in east London, made an ambitious multi-layered piece, creating two separate story worlds – one in a computer game – as well as a series of scary characters, one of whom wears the mask of a Greek tragedian. ‘Levels’ refers to the primary motif – stairs and ladders – as well as the levels of game. Spot the reference to Bergman’s Seventh Seal! And the ending is genuinely chilling…”
Well done year 6!
