A group of girls in Year 3 who have been taking part in the Mini Mermaids running club for the last 8 weeks took on the challenge of a 5K race on Saturday 5th May in Hackney Marshes.
They all did incredibly well. As you can imagine 5K is a big race for children but these girls showed such determination, they found their happy pace and all finished in very good time, leaving the school staff that also ran with them in their dust!
